The Ultimate Black Music Database is now online for one year. I started this database with 1100 artists, 2500 albums, and 7000 tracks. This amount is more than doubled. The amount of covers, samples is also increased and the updates will be still on regular basis. I just recently introduced the members/appear on list.

It was a year with ups and downs. The downs with the deadth of our favorit artists, Ernesto McKenzie Phillips (starpoint), John Whitehead, Ray Charles, Syreeta, Rick James, Tyrone Davis, and Rennee Diggs.

The ups with the new albums of 70s/80s artists like The O' Jays, {safm}Brenda Russell{/safm}, Teena Marie, Michael Cooper, Stephanie Mills, Anita Baker, Will Downing, Al green. And a Soul & Funk music stream for this site.

For me it is exactly the right moment to change the layout for this site. From now on it will be called The Ultimate Soul And Funk Music Database. Many Thanx to Remco for spending hours behind his favorit PS app. The URL is also changed to https://www.soulandfunkmusic.com. The old URL will be still available.
