I don't know exactly how to describe the style of the CD Madrid Boogie of Venueconnection. It's a mix of pop, latin, jazzy, funky, soul music. One thing is sure, they use real analog instruments like organs, guitars, bass, drums and piano. Madrid Boogie, a 16 track album, is a mixture of uptempo, downtempo songs with vocals as well instrumentals. A CD for the summer evenings with a nice cup of tea, coffee or beer and a good conversation. This album is avaiable on soulchoonz.com

The title song 'Madrid Boogie' is very funky song in the style of Jamiroquai. 'Cool Vanilla' is an soul, jazzy funky slowjam. How to descibe the style of the uptempo 'Stay at home' I don't know.

The funky 'Stand Up' is filled with nice sound effects. The sax solo is ok. The title 'Bring Back The Funk' says everything. Bring that Funk Back Baby, a 'Brazilian' style instrumental track with very good bass play. Also a nice SAX on it. I have only one complain, the duration of this track, 1 minute and 42 seconds is way too short. By the way, this track never get bored.

On instrumental track 'The Guitar', Venueconnection let you hear different types of guitar play on funky beat. You will hear the Spanish Guitar, indian Sitar and a raging electric guitar.

Track number 12 has Indian influences and track number 16 Spanish. In short a good album if you like above type of music.
