Soul/Music, there is not one without the other. Born in Houston, raised in Chicago Gloria Ry’ann has had the gift of song since birth. Growing up in a house full of music, Gloria learned at an early age that she aspired to present the passion that Aretha, Ella and Anita brought to the stage in her own performances. She began lessons as a child with world renowned Dr. Lena Mc Lin, and has been making beautiful music ever since.
Blessed with a four octave vocal range, and impressive writing chops, Gloria decided to move to New York to make her dreams reality. Since then she has racked up quite an impressive resume, working with such artists as Ashford & Simpson, Patti Labelle, Teddy Pendergrass, Jennifer Hudson and Rihanna. She has appeared around the globe on television (The Today Show, 106th & Park, MTV) and on stage, as a supporting vocalist and a soloist.
