Comments

The Success Of Saturday Night, Sunday Morning Prompted Motown To Include The 12" Version On Her 1979 Album Ride To The Rainbow. Not That "Rainbow" Needed It, With Her Spirited Remake Of The Miracles Hit Love Machine. Aided By A Promotional-only 12" Single It Caused A Sensation In Clubs Across The Country And Rivaled The Original Version In Sales. Once Again Producer Hal Davis Lined Thelma's Album With Top-notch Musicians And Material And Once Again Pattie Brooks Appeared On Backgrounds.
