You won’t find yourself skipping any of these tracks, at least not until you’ve identified with your favorites. The Music on this Soulful-R&B CD simply sells itself from beginning to end. You will truly be reminded of the music of the late, Marvin Gaye , Gladys Knight fast forward to Stephanie Mills, Phyllis Hyman and Anita Baker. The music of Singer-Songwriter Marilyn Ashford-Brown will pull you in and take you on an inspiring musical journey one much longed for considering the direction today’s music has taken. Best of all she holds her own and can compete with the best. So, if you love REAL MUSIC, then this CD is for you….Enjoy! Album Review Available on soulchoonz Buy this CD from CDBaby |

Is this Cornelius MD or Barry White! Cornelius does sound the same as the master himself. This is a great compliment. The music is just as smooth. No doubt that Cornelius is influenced and inspired by Mister White. In fact he is born on the same day. The album consist of 4 tracks and each of them has a different sound. You could hear influences of Keith Sweat, the guitar licks of the Isley Brothers. |

Donald Sheffey has a soulful voice that will swallow you in to a comfortable world. The tracks have a late 70's, early 80's feel but with a modern twist.
If you love 70's & 80's style soul in the traditional sense (Luther Vandross, George Benson, Al Jarreau) you will not be disappointed. The lyrics are thoughtful and, at once, universal and personal; the melodies are straightforward, yet laced with infectious beats; and Donald commands a voice that is as silky smooth as it is powerful. You will play this CD over & over again |

Superb, Fabulous, Splendid, it's confection, candy for your ears. I'm talking about the selftitled debut album of the australian group Confection. Did I miss this album in the mid 80s? No, not possible, I bought almost everything these days so I probably purchased this album too. I've searched through all my albums near The Jones Girls, Kashif, SOS Band etc. but couldn't find it. I was desperate, so i looked on the net and find out it was a 2007 release distributed by Soulchoonz.com. Was it a reissue? No it wasn't;-) Wow what an album.

The verdict is in on MARC STAGGERS, the album entitled “Then & Now” will drop on November 9, 2009.

Marc's voice is reminiscent of the late Luther Vandross and Marc's lyrics also serve to remind the listener of a time perhaps not so long ago, when romance, respect, and love are so important,... not just in music, but in life. Read The album review on Soulchoonz |

Wow what an album by Omar Cunningham - Time Served. This album is his fourth album he recorded. All the tracks are penned by himself and Robert Harris Jr. This fifteen track CD should be in your closet. The album starts with 'That's My Jam' and that is defenitly My Jam, what a tune. This tune has a lot 'Gerald Levert' influences. A track that you can play over and over. My favourite of this album. For samples and to buy this CD soulchoonz.com |

Atlanta based North "2unes" Woodall, a superb jazz guitarist, has recorded his "smooth Jazz" album "Straight @ You". He shared the stage with his homies, funk masters Lakeside and The Ohio Players, along with Roger Troutman and Zapp, Roy Ayers, Millie Jackson, Tom Brown and Will Downing. |
