SAFM received Keite Youngs album Sampler of his forthcoming album 'the rise and fall of Keite Young' consists his new single 'Pray', gospel, soul oriented song with nice organs. Steve Harvey produced 'Thinkuboutmi'. That song is written by Keite himself, Steve Harvery and Bobby Watson. 'E.N.S' is a low tempo deep soul, gospel song with very nice background vocals. The track 'Shine' sounds good but is to short for review. But nevertheless Keite Youngs voice and music are worth too listen to. For more info www.hiddenbeach.com |

"Motown" does Philly. Philly does "Motown". Philadelphia producer Phil Hurt, who has 11 gold and platinum records, is releasing “A Soulful Tale of Two Cities.”
The concept is simple. Let the Motown stars record the Philadelphia classic soul jams. Have the troops from the Philadelphia International school record some Motor City tracks. |

The radio sampler of Onitsha's album Church Girl is promising. The track 'He Is' is a very funky song. It starts with a funky bass followed by the vocals of Onitsha. You can't sit still. She sings about the lord. A short bio of Onitsha. Onitsha La’Quis Shaw born in Beverly Hills, California, on July 16, 1980. She started attending West Angeles COGIC (Church Of God In Christ) in Los Angeles. Singing for family and friends turned into singing for the Lord. She became a part of the Angelic Children’s Choir, under the direction of Ruth Schofield. Her first solo with the Angelic Choir came quickly. A few years later the choir went on to do an album, sing on a television special with Tevin Campbell at Disneyland. For more info www.hiddenbeach.com |

The CD sampler of Sunny Hawkins 'More of You' also promise a good debut CD for Sunny. 'Love Me Too' is a pleasant track with a high sing along standard. The CD title track 'More Of You' is more a rough song than 'Love Me Too'. It contains some heavy guitar licks. 'What A Man' is gospel/pop song the same for 'Crazy'. My preferable track is 'Love Me Too'. Sunny have also a church background. For more info www.hiddenbeach.com |
