STEVE ARRINGTON is a member of Slave. STEVE ARRINGTON released Eight albums from 1983 till 2014. The first album STEVE ARRINGTON released in the eighties is 'Steve Arrington's Hall Of Fame I' on ATLANTIC Records. Other albums that STEVE ARRINGTON recorded are 'Positive Power', 'Jam Packed', 'Dancin' In The Key Of Life'. Four albums of STEVE ARRINGTON reached the billboard Top R&B Albums chart. The highest charted album was 'Steve Arrington's Hall Of Fame I' from 1983. This album debuted 5 March 1983 on the Top R&B Albums chart and reached number 12 and lasts 31 weeks on this chart. Other charted albums are `Dancin' In The Key Of Life' #32 (Top R&B Albums) and `Positive Power' #36 (Top R&B Albums) and `Jam Packed' #50 (Top R&B Albums) From 1980 till 1986 STEVE ARRINGTON released also ten singles. The first single STEVE ARRINGTON released in the eighties is 'Summertime Lovin'' on SALSOUL Records. Other released tracks are 'Hump To The Bump (1983 / ATLANTIC)', 'Nobody Can Be You (1983 / ATLANTIC)', 'DANCING IN THE KEY OF LIFE (1985 / ATLANTIC)', 'Feel So Real (1985 / ATLANTIC)'.

Steve Arrington is from Ohio and originally played drums with the goup The Young Mystics. When the group broke up, Steve moved to San Francisco to try his luck. The remaining members of the group The Young Mystics combined with members of another Ohio group Black Satin Soul formed the group Slave.

In 1978 Steve returned to the group, initially as a backing singer but later as lead vocalist on hits 'Just A Touch Of Love1, 'Watching You' and 'Wait For Me'.

In 1983 Steve's left Slave due to Politics within the group. In that year he formed a new group, Steve Arrington's Hall Of Fame.

On Atlantic Records their debut was Positive Power (1984). In 1985 Steve scored his greatest solo success with 'Feels So Real, a UK Top 5 hit taken from his album Dancin' In The Key Of Life, whose title track was a UK Top 25 single in 1985.

The album The Jammin' National Anthem of 1986 was not a big success. On the back of this success Steve toured the UK, and in a severe credibility blow turned his shows into lengthy spoken sermons preaching his newfound Christian faith.

Following a brief spell with EMI/Manhattan Records, Steve disappeared from the music scene till 2009 with his CD Pure Thang.
