The first single INSTANT FUNK released in the seventies is 'Philly Jump' on THE SOUND OF PHILADELPHIA (CBS) Records. Other released tracks are 'Bodyshine (1979 / SALSOUL)', 'I Got My Mind Made Up (1978 / SALSOUL)', 'Slam Dunk The Funk (1982 / SALSOUL)', 'Slap Slap Lickedly Lap (1979 / SALSOUL)'.

This group is assembled by Bunny Sigler and are based in Philadelphia. They played the instruments on all Bunny Siglers albums. On their debut album (TSOP Records) Get down With the Philly Bunny Sigler was the writer/producer. In 1978 they recorded I got my mind made up again with Bunny on their album Instant Funk. The following releases are on salsoul records. In 1978 they also did the instrumentation to an album from The Pips (Callin') without Gladys Knight.
