David Lee Andrews first enjoyed chart success in 1982 to 1983 with the American soul funk group known as "Gift of Dreams" who were signed to Jam Power Records. He sang lead, played keyboards and co-wrote three songs including the underground funk classic hits ‘Funkincise’ and ‘Spirit of the Dancer’.

David Lee went to Spain in 1991 and met fellow American soul singer Freddie Lee [Peterkin] with whom he has shared a working relationship and friendship for over 20 years. Freddie Lee introduced David to the award winning producers 5am Productions. 5am have produced David's next release "Love Music". “Love Music” is mid tempo neo soul tune, infused with classic horns and funk riffs.
