CASHMERE members are Keith Steward. CASHMERE released Three albums from 1983 till 1996. The first album CASHMERE released in the eighties is 'Let The Music Turn You On' on PHILLY WORLD Records. Other albums that CASHMERE recorded are 'Cashmere', 'Best Of Cashmere'. One albums of CASHMERE reached the billboard Top R&B Albums chart. The highest charted album was 'Cashmere' from 1985. This album debuted 2 March 1985 on the Top R&B Albums chart and reached number 52 and lasts 13 weeks on this chart. From 1982 till 1985 CASHMERE released also five singles. The first single CASHMERE released in the eighties is 'Do It Anyway You Wanna' on PHILLY WORLD Records. Other released tracks are 'Can I (1984 / FOURTH & BROADWAY)', 'Let The Music Turn You On (1983 / PHILLY WORLD)', 'Try Your Lovin (1983 / VOGUE)'.

Cashmere members is Daryl Burgee (from Philadelphia) and Dwight Ronnell Dukes (from Chicago) two top session musicians. Dwight had previously recorded as lead singer with Heaven & Earth.

In 1982 Daryl and Dwight worked with producer Bryan Loren on their debut album Let The Music Turn You On, including 'Do It Anyway You Wanna for the Philly World label.

In 1985 Mick Horton joined the group as pianist/songwriter. Mick was the co-writer on Eugene Wilde's 'Gotta Get You Home With Me Tonight'. And in that year they recorded heir second album Cashmere featured 'Can I' (UK Top 30) and 'We Need Love' (UK Top 75).
