Okay, Andre' Cymone At One Time Was Pretty Much A Prince Clone Who's Music Paled In Comparison With "The Purple Badness" Himself. Despite This Fact, "Livin' In The New Wave" Was A Pretty Decent Offering Of New Wave 80's Funk. Cymone Even Scored An R&b Radio Hit With, "Kelly's Eyes" Which Still (in A Nostalgic Way) Sounds Good Today. "Baby Don't Go", A (teenaged) Tear Jerker Sounds A Bit Unproduced But Then Maybe That Was The Sound Cymone Was Going For Ala' Prince's (Dirty Mind). "Voice On The Radio" Is Fun School Yard Boy-chases-girl Antics. "All I Need Is You" Strums Along But Is Forgettable And The Title Track Tries For Anthem Status, But Fall Flat. There Are Some Nice Moments On "Livin In The New Wave", But I Would Only Recommend This For Nostalgic Sake And To Those Collector's Of The "Minneappolis Sound".
