Formely lead singer (William Griffin) of The Miracles in 1972. He was the replacement for Smokey Robinson. In 1982 Billy signed to CBS as solo artist. His first album, 'Be With Me', with song 'Hold me tighter in the rain' was released in 1983. His next album 'Respect' was recorded in the westlake studio in 1983. Both albums are produced by John Barnes. His next album 'Systematic' in 1985 was co-produced by Leon Ware and Wayne Lewis. 1986 Billy recorded an album but this not released because some differences of opinion between Billy and the record label.
