Bio

Steve Arrington is from Ohio and originally played drums with the goup The Young Mystics. When the group broke up, Steve moved to San Francisco to try his luck. The remaining members of the group The Young Mystics combined with members of another Ohio group Black Satin Soul formed the group Slave.

In 1978 Steve returned to the group, initially as a backing singer but later as lead vocalist on hits 'Just A Touch Of Love1, 'Watching You' and 'Wait For Me'.

In 1983 Steve's left Slave due to Politics within the group. In that year he formed a new group, Steve Arrington's Hall Of Fame.

On Atlantic Records their debut was Positive Power (1984). In 1985 Steve scored his greatest solo success with 'Feels So Real, a UK Top 5 hit taken from his album Dancin' In The Key Of Life, whose title track was a UK Top 25 single in 1985.

The album The Jammin' National Anthem of 1986 was not a big success. On the back of this success Steve toured the UK, and in a severe credibility blow turned his shows into lengthy spoken sermons preaching his newfound Christian faith.

Following a brief spell with EMI/Manhattan Records, Steve disappeared from the music scene till 2009 with his CD Pure Thang.
