I don't know exactly how to describe the style of the CD Madrid Boogie of Venueconnection. It's a mix of pop, latin, jazzy, funky, soul music. One thing is sure, they use real analog instruments like organs, guitars, bass, drums and piano. Madrid Boogie, a 16 track album, is a mixture of uptempo, downtempo songs with vocals as well instrumentals. A CD for the summer evenings with a nice cup of tea, coffee or beer and a good conversation. This album is avaiable on soulchoonz.com |

Silk is from Philadelphia USA. There are some excellent tracks on it like "I Can not Stop Turning You On" (entry in the Billboard charts), and other groovy tracks that are more uptempo such as "Midnight Dancer" (also available as 12 inch bonus track), "Get On Up", "Keep Dancin "and "Love's Gonna Get You In The End. The recordings of Silk can only be found as rare Northern Soul collectors items. Click on Read More to listen to this great CD. > | |

| >> | 2010 from the acclaimed guitarist and vocalist. So Strong is simply put- so strong! The first single (and title track) already made an impact at Urban Adult Contemporary and is a marvelous, hip slice of his powerful vocals over an infectious, driving rhythm. Smooth Jazz radio gets a taste too with the Benson-esque "Make Room for Me" and the inspirational "You Got to Believe Something" is a musical credo that won't let you down. So Strong- we hope you will agree- isn't just worth the wait, it's worth the weight in soul. "So Strong" is the 16th album by the famed South African-born singer/guitarist/songwriter/producer, whose music is often classified as R&B, jazz fusion or smooth jazz. Fans of Jonathan Butler will not be disappointed with the combination of smooth guitar led instrumentals like "Good Times" and "Make Room For Me", which has already reached # 20 on the Billboard Jazz Songs Chart. "I Pay Respect" is the most gentle of acoustic guitar instrumentals. The lilting "Color Green" and the upbeat "So Strong" are the pick of the vocal tracks, while "You Got To Believe In Something" has a languid fell to it. > |

2010 release from the Grammy-nominated R&B singer/songwriter. As one of the most distinguished voices in R&B music, Charlie Wilson needs no introduction. The Tulsa, Oklahoma native and former lead singer of the funkadelic brotherly trio, the Gap Band has proven with his last two solo albums that he is more than relevant, he is a hit maker. > |
