Album review Cornelius MD Print
Cornelius MD - Step Baby Is this Cornelius MD or Barry White! Cornelius does sound the same as the master himself. This is a great compliment. The music is just as smooth. No doubt that Cornelius is influenced and inspired by Mister White. In fact he is born on the same day.  The album consist of 4 tracks and each of them has a different sound. You could hear influences of Keith Sweat, the guitar licks of the Isley Brothers.

The first track 'Step Baby' is a real 'White' tune with beautifull strings, chords and delicious background vocals. The 'Keith' look-a-like track 'Do it' has a well known melody line, I can't give it a name yet. If you know this please contact me. This is also a superb song with, of course, the deep brown vocals. A track to push the continious replay button on your HiFI. The same for 'A Lifetime Of Love' with the Ernie Isley guitar, nice high synth sound every 16 beats. The last track is, for me, less good as the first tracks.
